Summary
I started teaching in 2001 after a varied and successful career in IT industry here and in USA.
I was Programme Manager of the team that founded degree courses at Colchester with the validation of Foundation Degree in Computer Systems in 2002. I managed the changes in programme needed for change of HEI from Anglia Ruskin to University of Essex in 2005. I was a member of the team that presented at re-validation of courses in 2009. I am responsible for external contacts generally, and for employer liaison and feedback in particular, for the Computer Solutions degree courses. I introduced Moodle to Colchester Institute in 2006 and it now hosts scores of courses and hundreds of users. I continue to construct Moodle courses, some of which are considered as exemplary, for use by myself and other tutors.
Current and Recent Responsibilities
